A few people asked me how I created the basic video intro on some of my past Final Cut Pro X videos and since I created them with Final Cut Pro X, I thought I would make a quick video to show you how it was done. This is a VERY basic and simple intro that only took me about a minute to create, right from within FCPX. Watch the video below to see how it’s done!

Apple Announces Final Cut Pro X – Coming This June!

Highlights from the Apple Announcement and new features for Final Cut Pro X:

Final Cut Pro X will finally be a 64 bit application which is a HUGE improvement. This means that it can use more RAM and will also run much smoother and faster than the current version.

Say goodbye to long rendering times! Current Final Cut Pro users know about long rendering times and I am happy to report that the changes that Apple has made to Final Cut Pro X will pretty much eliminate rendering time and you will be able to view changes you have made instantly.

New Interface: Final Cut Pro X will have a new, completely different look than the current version of Final Cut Pro. This new look is streamlined and focused around the three areas that video editors use most when making cuts: a New Media Browser, Preview Area, and better looking Editing Timeline.

Watch this Youtube video below to view some hands on demos of the new Final Cut Pro X by Apple themselves:
